I am curious to how difficult it is to be accepted as a transfer student if one recieves good grades during the first year at a different law school. I am just beginning to apply to law schools, although with my record (158 LSAT, 2.72 GPA, bad grades early in college-good in my junior and senior years) I'm not too confident about getting into to anyhwhere besides fourth tier schools. If I attend somewhere like Willamette or Thomas Jefferson and do very well during my first year, will second or third tier schools(like say UCLA or the University of Colorado) be willing to admit me as a transfer student. I've heard from several recent law school grads that they believed most law schools don't admit many transfer students.
