I submitted my AMCAS a week or so ago, but now I am really freaking out. I thought I checked over everything but now I see a few mistakes. Nothing major...but for some of my activities I didn't check the city and state and for one I didn't put the number of hours. Also I forgot to list an activity....a second job I had one semester. What do you all think? I am sure AdComm won't look at this favorably. I am just afraid it will prevent me from getting secondaries Can anyone cheer me up??

A good number of schools send secondaries out automatically, for one.

As for the mistakes, as long as you don't have anything too major it won't kill your application. However, it'll probably hurt you just a little. When I put AP credits for classes in I didn't select the grade method right or something like that and it never hurt me. It's important to have a nice polished application, but I think the major things that can hurt that are typos and errors in your writing (personal essay, descriptions of activities, etc.), especially on the secondary application essays too. It will only prevent you from getting secondaries if your grades and MCAT and activities aren't up to par.

You should post a question about what to do about that second job you had in the "Ask Admissions Consultants" thread. It's good to have more activities, but it's not good to point out your own errors in your application to the schools you are applying to, so I don't know if you should bring that up in an interview or not. Definitely ask about it on the "Ask Admissions Consultants" thread (use "Reply to Topic" and NOT "New Topic").
