Hello,

Most Grad schools/Law Schools require that an applicant reveal if they have ever faced discipline at any academic institution beyond high school. I had one disciplinary matter in my freshman year of college (akin to underage drinking, but not, if you know what I mean) and I also had to medically withdraw for a term two years later. The medical withdrawal was because of substance abuse. I was not caught doing anything by the school, but my work suffered. Overall, I did well at college and returned the next year and graduated. I also completed a post-bachelor's paralegal certificate and almost received a 4.0 in that one year program. Is my one discipline record and the one medical withdrawal going to severely affect my chances of admission into a second or third tier school? Thanks.
