What would you do if you were going to be separated from your hen for life?
Bush and terrorists have a love-hate relationship. They hate each other but they love what the other does for their recruiting. |

No more human hens for life? Suicide.
Sobered up and realized I had just committed beastiality (sp)? Suicide.
Any Scottish sheep farmers wish to comment?
About the love-hate, they seem to think that a regime change wouldn't take the war on terror to them the way Bush has and if they think Kerry is soft, it's one more reasojn to vote for Bush IMO.

| Ever read international papers? Listen to the foreign press? Bush taking the war to them so directly may seem like the way to combat it, but that very tactic is helping them recruit at an unbelievable pace. Bush is seen as a demagogue and a representative of Christianity trying to attack Islam for them. Certain terrorist factions have been quoted as describing him as the anti-Christ. When you have to clear out a beehive because the bees are stinging some visitors, you don't first throw water on the hive or kick it hard. You have to remove it sneakily to keep from arousing the anger of all the bees inside. Terrorists want to hate us - Bush makes it really easy. Not-Bush doesn't have to mean soft on terrorism. If foreign policy were that black-and-white the world would be a heck of a lot easier. |

Posting this again. Hope it doesn't gret deleted again.
Yes. I read. I come to different conclusions and I hear they are planning terrorist attacks to get Bush voted out. I think they hope the next pres is less forcefull. About recruiting, these jihadists aren’t choosing between terror and starting computer companies. If they are already predisposed this way which they are then there are serious issues and diplomacy wont work with these nuts. Bush tried to get UN approval before going into Iraq and he had UN resolutions so I don’t want to hear he didn’t try diplomacy. Considering France Russia and Germany were in bed with Saddam I don’t think a Dem could have done better at building a coalition than Bush.

| Even though we disagree I wanted to say thanks anyway for offering a reasonable perspective. It's better than the talking heads on TV and radio that simply state stuff without backing it up or acknowledging that there are other sides. Hopefully the candidates will have some good debates that will give us (and terrorists) more information about our country's resolve (no matter what the method used, espionage, military diplomacy, etc.) to combat terrorism. I really hope that they have several debates. |

Allow me to threadjack this back to the original story. Why was the hen killed? It was the innocent victim. What did it do wrong? Has PETA yet commented on this and sent protesters to Zambia. |

| I have a slight feeling that most of those townspeople wanted to forget about the whole incident. Besides, if they chased after him they may have been hungry. |

I'm not sure what I found more funny. THe thought of PETA protesters in the Zambia village or the villagers deciding that chasing Mr. Beastiliaty made them hungry and deserving of eating his hen.

I think the wife is average, i.e. in between a supermodel and the backside of the hen. THis perv probably would have done this even if he had been with a supermodel.
I also think this happens a lot we just hear about it more because of super efficient Internet communication. |

| The link does not/no longer works. Am I Einstein for thinking some Zambian husband poinked a hen, got killed by the villagers, and then the villagers ate the hen? |

umh01, you were close...
The husband "enjoyed" the hen, but his wife caught him doing it. So, he tried to kill her, but then when the villagers starting harassing him about it he killed himself. The hen was later slaughtered (and perhaps enjoyed again, though not in the same way...). |
