Hi all,

I am an International student and I obtained my B.S. in CS from Purdue University.

My GPA is 3.15/4.00
I had 1 Research taken as a credit, got an A but no publications.
I had 1 1/2 years of working experience.

I am sure I can get a very positive Letters of Recommendation from my employer. Maybe a good letter from my research professor. And maybe 1 neutral letter.

My question is with this kind of stats where or what kind of schools should I aim for ?

so far I am planning to apply to these schools:
UIUC ( long shot for this one :( )
UW - Madison
Harvard University
U of Massachusetts Armherst
Penn State U - University Park
NYU
UC Irvine
UC Davis
UC Santa Barbara

Please tell me what you think?

Hi RubenK and welcome to Admissions Boards!

You may have difficulty gaining admission to some of the schools you listed due to your less than average GPA. You may be able to mitigate this with your GRE however, so I suggest you aim high.
