Hello guys!
Can you please post your SAT scores here? I have trouble finding out which is the average result on the new SAT. I have already taken it twice: first time 1920(reading 550, math 770, writing 600), second time 1880(reading 570, math 720, writing 590). Can you please share your scores? |

I think yours are the average scores.
I haven't taken SAT test but I heard that the average Math score is around 750s but English is said to be harder to get a higher score.

WOW YOU GUYS HOW DO U SCORE THAT HIGH!!!!!!!!!!!! I ONLY GOT 1400! its Bullshyt!!! 900 In english !! and 500 MAth, if anyone can help me score higher then i would really appreaciate it!

| i'm taking it for the first time on june 9th 2007... and im a little concerned about it... on my SAT practice test things it says that i got a 560 on math, a 615 on critical reading and an 740 on writing (which is like paragraph completion and sentence fixing and stuff like that)... so i have an overall score of about 1900... is that good?? |

I got a 2070 -- 760 Critical Reading, 620 Math, 690 writing...

ON THE OLD SAT, THE SCORE TO AIM FOR WAS ANYWHERE BETWEEN 1220-1390...
THIS IS EQUIVALENT TO GETTING BETWEEN 1830-2085 ON THE NEW SAT.
wondering how i figured this out? well you smarties taking the sat should know allll about how to set up a proportion, right? haha
sooo set up your two proportions:
1220/1600 = X/2400..AND..1390/1600 = X/2400
1600X = 2928000..............1600X = 3336000
X = 1830..........................X = 2085 |

| i got a 1870- 680 in math, 640 in writing, 550 in critical reading. for that one person who did really good in writing but bad in CR and math, that score really isn't good because most colleges don't even look at your writing score... |

| I got a 1430 on the old SAT, which was just good enough for a national merit scholarship. I only took it once since the ACT was the preferred exam for the colleges I applied to, and I decided to go to my huge state school. The math was ridiculously easy, and the vocabulary covered was worthless for predicting success in my undergraduate degree (engineering). SAT and ACT scores are used to award scholarships though, so good luck! |

hi guys...
ive done the SAT practice tests in that SAT prep book the collegboard has, but it can give me a straight score for each section, only a range, like 690-740 or sumthing...how do i find out my actual exact score?? |
