Guys, I am planning to visit the schools of my choice sometime next week. Though it sounds trivial, it kinda bothers me. Can anybody advise on the proper dress code for school visits? Does it has to be formal? or casual? or business casual? I just don't want to feel out of the place while visiting the school.

I think it depends if you are interviewing or not. If you are just there to see the campus, go biz casual. If you have an interview, go biz formal. You will find a good mix there so you'll fit in no matter how you dress.

What campuses are you visiting?

I wouldnt go casual if I were you. Go at least business casual and if you have any doubts go in business attire.

Evertything I have heard says it is better to be overdressed than under.
