Hi. I'm new in the forum, but desperately need advice. I'm a current junior anticipating on taking the MCAT this spring. I've reviewed with kaplan and using examkrackers on my own. My pratice tests are around 35-38 with kaplan. I have a horrible GPA of 3.3 at Mount Holyoke College and a 3.82 at another university. I'm a part time EMT,volunteer weekly at the hospital, and been in a lab for 4 years(and published). I feel that my GPA is very low. Should i not apply to some of the big schools? I'm interested in the MD/PHD, do i stand a chance with those programs?
