Hi bibobu,

I am not an expert so therefore I am probably not the best person to answer these specific questions for you. I would suggest you personally talk to people in both programs and visit them. There is significant variance between various online and on campus programs and a lot of it is subjective anyways.

Best of luck!

First off questions:
1. What is the difference in quality of learning online course vs on-campus (pros and cons). Content wise, teaching wise, course related work wise, etc.
2. Recognition of the degree upon graduation.
Even though this program mentions that upon graduation the degree with state 'Master of Science in Engineering' with no mention of 'Online' anywhere. In the eyes of a potential employer, would this degree be equivalent to on taken on-campus?
3. This program has a thesis or project option required prior to graduation. This I see as an pro for the program. What is your opinion considering this is an online program.

Thank you kindly.

Hi bibobu and welcome to Admissions Boards!

I am not an expert but although UCLA's electrical engineering master's program is not necessarily among the top ten best programs based on rankings, it is still an excellent institution. I would suggest visiting the school's website and coming up with a list of questions to ask a representative to better gauge your perspective.

Best of luck!
